Adds Ground Fault Protection to any electrical device. Great for use in conjunction with a pump. We always recommend covering your pump to protect it from water/splashing and to avoid submerging the cord.
The ground fault protection is very helpful, and more so if you follow common sense in how you install and plumb your pump, or other electrical devices. It should not be used of in place of generally accepted wiring principles.
