Economy Keg washing system utilizes the fermenkeg as the chemical tank. Includes special cleaning "cap" that clamps onto the fermenkeg, along with a Pump to recirculate the cleaning solution.
Simply fill the keg with 2 gallons solution, install special cleaning cap, invert keg on top of cleaning pump stand, and turn on pump.
Let the cleaning solution recirculate according to the ECONOMY KEG WASHER instructions, then open dump valve and dump cleaning solution into a 5 gallon bucket via the supplied discharge line.
Economy Keg Washer system also comes with a valve connection to your garden hose to facilitate rinsing the keg between solutions by simply opening and closing valves, saving you time by allowing the cap to remain in place.
The 4 way valve system controls pump flow, water in, & solution out. When cleaning beer kegs, you will use 3 solutions and water in the following order:
Water rinse
Hot caustic rinse
Water rinse
Citric Acid rinse
Water rinse
Iodophor sanitizing (optional)
