Add to the boil kettle at least 15 minutes before the end of the boil. Irish moss combines with the proteins in your kettle leaving your beer crystal clear. We highly recommend this and swear by it's performance record! We usually throw it in at the beginning of the boil, which also helps the frothy boil head subside and prevent overflows.
