This feature works great for hydrometer samples since you simply put the hydrometer flask under the E-Z sample outlet, open the valve and viola - you have a mess free sample! On top of that, it also makes cleaning your boil kettle VERY E-Z and hassle free. Simply open the outflow valve and hose down the boil kettle and you are done!
The E-Z sample/Dump is the lowest valve in the boil kettle outflow manifold (see picture)
