Now BREWTREE's are even easier to use! That's right, in keeping with our policy of continual improvement in design, we offer the E-Z Access Option for those that prefer a shorter system.
The E-Z Access option shaves 20" from the total height of the system - EFFECTIVELY putting the top of the HLT at the same level as the top of the mashtun on our standard models.
The E-Z Access Option utilizes a sanitary pump to push the wort into your fermentor.
Pump can handle liquid temps to 250F so can be sanitized In-Line with the wort chillers.
Total system height to the top of the HLT is a little less than 6 feet tall. (Brewers should not need to ever access the HLT unless it is to clean off accumulated dust).
The top of the mashtun is at about 4 1/2 feet tall - more than low enough for most people to EASILY throw their grain into the tun, yet high enough to still make the E-Z Dump option effective.
Great for pumping wort into Conical fermentors or other fermentors with legs.
We recommend using a GFCI Plug for the pump - available seperately.
If you want to control ther pump with a switch, we recommend purchasing an outdoor power strip (available at most hardware stores). Most Outdoor power strips allow for safe connection of an extension cord and provide a switched outlet for the pump.
Works great for pumping wort into a fermentor being used for lagering. Many people use modified chest freezers to lager their beer, and the E-Z Access Option means you can place your fermentor in the freezer first, and then just transfer with a hose! No need for heavy lifting - the E-Z Access Option solves all of your problems!
E-Z Access option must be ordered at the same time a BREWTREE is ordered.
