Our economy ALL-ELECTRIC BREWTREE Upgrade Option allows you to brew indoors year round. Here's what it includes:
6 Sanitary TIG welded fittings added to your system at time of manufacture (3 for HLT and 3 for Boil Kettle)
3 Individually controlled heating elements for the Boil Kettle.
3 Individually controlled heating elements for the HLT.
This option is for those seeking an economical solution for their indoor brewing needs.
No special wiring is needed if you only plan on making 5 gallon batches of beer. For larger batches, the requirements are below and must be performed by a licensed electrician:
(6) GFCI 110v, seperate 20 amp circuits must be installed to provide power for the elements.
Even if you do mostly 5 gallon batches, installing the extra circuits will allow you to run all elements at once, GREATLY speeding up the brewing process.
ALL-ELECTRIC system is rated to heat 65F water to 170F dough in temp, using 1 heating element per 5 gallons of water, in ONLY 1 hour!!! If you are running all 3 elements for 5 gallons, then it would be a 20 minute turn around.
If you desire to have more than 3 element installed per tank, email us. We can add as many elements as you want! (for an additional charge)
Our standard setup of 3 elements per tank has been tested and works extremely well without scorching wort.
