Adds a sight glass to your kettle. Not really necessary for a boil kettle, and not recommended for a mashtun (grain gets stuck in the sight glass). The sight glass is generally VERY useful when mounted in the Hot Liquor Tank, which is usually at a higher level than the rest of the system. This allows you to remotely view the water level, without having to physically look inside the top of the kettle.
