My philosophy of brewing is that the process should be at least as enjoyable and relaxing, if not more, than consuming the finished product. That is why I love your design so much. I don't want the hassle of dealing with pumps and electrical systems, complex step mashes, etc. Besides, the idea of having my brewery plugged into the AC while I wade around in the water makes me a little nervous. Men made great beer for centuries before Edison! I didn't toy with the idea of HERMS/RIMS very long... too much extra hassle and stuff to go wrong. Gravity is pretty damn reliable, you know. I could have easily afforded a Sabco setup, or something similar, but I bought the Brewtree on the basis of design, not cost.
